Christianity

As all religions do, Christianity and the Baptist church have their own set of terms that are used quite often. Having a unique set of terms is the norm while dealing with the church community. Within this discourse zone, there are their own sets of beliefs, and things that they typically engage in. On Sunday mornings, Christian churches have their Sunday school classes. A Sunday school class is where people in the church that are in a similar age or gender group have a time where they do Bible studies, and lessons. After Sunday school class is over, there is “Big Church”. Big Church is a term used commonly in the church as a slang term for the church’s main service. In “Big Church,” there is a time for worship music to be played. Then the pastor of the church preaches a sermon. This takes up the rest of the church service’s time. Another part of the church’s main service, is the worship service. The worship service is a time where the church gets together and sings songs that have a biblical meaning to them. This portion of the service typically lasts twenty to thirty minutes. The Christianity has many attributes to it, but the main and most important portion of it, is church. Fellowship with other members of the same lifestyle/religion is very important in one’s Christian life and relationship with God.
